Life Ledger notification
How a notification looks
Founded by long-time friends Ruth Blakemore and Tremayne Carew Pole, after Ruth’s painful first-hand experience of trying to close her mother’s accounts, they decided to create their own solution and Life Ledger was born
You will receive all of the information that you need to quickly and efficiently process the notification of death
- We work with TransUnion and cross reference the information that have put in about themselves, name, DOB, address
- We also ask them to upload a photo of either their driving licence or passport (government ID)
- We don’t store any data outside the UK and are registered with the ICO (ZA812432)
- We have a Data Protection Officer who advises on and oversees our compliance
- Our privacy governance framework is based on GDPR
- All data is fragmented, encrypted (AES) and stored on AWS servers
- The site and servers undergo quarterly penetration testing to highlight vulnerabilities
- We are Cyber Essentials certified and working towards ISO27001
- Comprehensive and regularly updated policies, staff handbooks and training ensure maximum security and protection
